Federal Bureau of Prisons at FMC Fort Worth is allowing outside visitors back into their facilities once again. With the feedback from the February 2020 Education Fair, they are interested in having us back! Please secure the following date for Thursday, May 30th from 11am until 3pm

They do have preferred universities to be in attendance; however, all are welcome to sign up.

What to expect:

• Background checks are required per their condition since it is a Federal Prison
• Education Fair will target both staff and adults in custody who are releasing in the next 6month to 2 years into North Texas.
• No cellphones and no giveaways are allowed in the facility.
• There will be a platform to speak on your university; brochures and university information is permitted.

If you are interested in attending please email Daisy Valk-Lopez at daisy.valklopez@uta.edu with your preferred email by March 1, 2024 at NOON and one of the staff members in charge will ask you to complete the required background check documentation by April 1 in order to attend. A touch base meeting will be scheduled a week before actual event in May to do a final run through of what to expect, what to bring, etc.
